University did not have any online platform where they can reach out to consumers/farmers to direct sell their produces.
Offline selling has a lot of limitations like infrastructure, resources, and a time-bound process.
Actual farmers were not getting the benefits of university-produced seeds developed for them.
Distribution of seeds was a tedious process involving a lot of paperwork.
Consumers/Farmers were not receiving direct messages from universities about seed availability.
Transactions/payments were done in cash, which the authority had to submit to the bank after the sale.
